The series "Within Without" illustrates the human body in an abstract and sculpture-like form.
It asks questions about our relationship to the outside world and how the world and the distressing events we experience impact our vulnerability. Some of the pieces evoke convulsive states of the body while simultaneously depicting its beauty. These faceless solitary figures become an emblem of the human condition.
